About Us
We are a friendly, lively group and have become involved in many village activities, running stalls at Frensham Fayre and the Village Lunch (where several members help), holding a Village Fun Quiz and entering local quizzes, taking part in Scarecrow Festivals in the village and at RHS Wisley, our local church Christmas Tree Festivals and joining with three other WIs for summer games and skittles. We invite our partners to join us for summer walks and to our Garden Party and Christmas Party. We also have raffles for local Charities. In the winter we hold scrabble afternoons.
Attendance at Farnham Group WI meetings brings access to a wider range of speakers and news of County goings-on. At Surrey Federation of WI meetings, we learn more about world issues and national initiatives.
Some of us have been to Denman College, attended Surrey Federation courses, one of our members is training as Soft Furnishings demonstrator.
